Have you heard of the concept called, “General Physical Preparedness”?

Are you prepared to undergo the exercise routine you are committed to?
I recommend that you consider the questions above prior to conducting any fitness program or trying new exercise ideas.
General Physical Preparedness- is your ability to maintain and understand your baseline of fitness level, so you can respond to physical challenges without harm. In other words make sure you are physically capable prior to do the exercise or applying max resistance.
Common Gym Injuries:
Foot and Ankle Injuries
To prevent foot and ankle injuries be sure to wear proper running shoes; look for shoes that have adequate arch support and ankle support.
Knee Injuries
To prevent knee injuries be sure to use proper technique during squatting exercises. You should only squat slightly below 90 degrees at the knees. After this point, your joint and ligaments are enduring all the stress from your body weight and the added resistance from the weights which leads to chronic knee injury.
Stay Healthy!
