Make a habit of reading nutrition labels while grocery
shopping. Many foods seem similar to one another, but a quick

comparison of nutritional content will show otherwise.
The ingredient label states the nutritional facts about
which nutrients are in the food. Your body needs the
right combination of nutrients, such as vitamins to work
properly. Proper nutrition helps maintain health by
preventing muscle loss, decreased bone mass, vitamin
deficiency, heart attacks, strokes, diabetes high blood
pressure, sleep apnea, celiac disease, obesity, osteoporosis,
and cancers.
Here are some tips for making the most of the information
on the Nutritional Facts label:
Figure out what is a serving size, look at top of the label first
Next, check the total of calories per serving.
Check the nutritional value i.e. fats, carbs, proteins
Make such the sodium & cholesterol content are s low
No trans fat, low saturated fat
