What a great month, everyday is so pink!
Not to say my favorite color is Pink,

but “PINK” represents a powerful movement: Breast Cancer Awareness.
Imagine everything being pink, I mean the city is really painted pink:
pink cars
pink bikes
pink house
pink clothes
pink mail boxes
Must I list more?
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
My legs are shaking right now! I don’t know why, oh… maybe it was the Breast Cancer Awareness walk yesterday.
5 k of straight hills!
No exaggeration, but one hill was approximately a quarter of a mile or more!
If you haven’t been to Tallahassee, Fl, the home of the Florida A&M University and Florida State University, you wouldn’t understand; this is the home of the most hills ever! Tally natives call this city, "the car transmission buster;" the hills will destroy your wheels!
Not to mention, the added resistance; 5k of walking up hills pushing a 52lbs stroller!
My son weighs about 30 lbs + 2lbs ( full belly)
Baby bag 10lbs
Wife purse 10lbs
But it was all worth it! I felt all emotions during the walk; pain for those fighting the battle, happiness for survivors, and sadness for the fallen soldiers.
Every step of the way resembled something bigger than me; hope and perseverance to be exact.
It was such a blessing to participate in; Just looking in the eyes of loving participants energized me to continue the fight: head down legs pumping, heart beating, and mental thoughts: “don’t quit, do it for them”, the whole length of the way!
If you are fighting this battle or know someone who is, I salute you; soldiers!
You are in my prayers and thoughts. Keep fighting, keep pushing and when you feel as if you have no more fuel to keep going; just keep going! No quitting! I believe in you!
