Yesterday while browsing YouTube,

I notice something terrifying:

Cinnamon

lover's.

Don't get the wrong impression, I have no problem with you, if cinnamon is your favorite. Just don't go over board with it. As for me, I can sprinkle a little cinnamon on my oatmeal or eat one of my favorite cereals, cinnamon toast crunch; but never to the point of sickness.

(picure from toddsbbi.com) Taste Cinnamon!

These people were eating it by the case load, I mean downing it.

If you have no idea what I am talking about, this YouTube act of death is called, “The Cinnamon Challenge”! Eating too much cinnamon can cause Liver problems. Fortunately, the damage can be reversed often by deleting cinnamon form your diet.

Tthe positive effects of cinnamon on your body?

Studies prove that cinnamon has a positive effect on blood insulin levels & Cholesterol.

If you are to consume about 1- 3g of cinnamon a couple of times a week, blood sugar levels will drop. But keep in mind that this is mostly for individuals suffering from Type 1 Diabetes.

If you have type 2 diabetes, cinnamon will have less positive influence on your blood sugar levels. A type 2 diabetic can potentially become hypoglycemic; basically, your sugar levels can drop too low: secondary to an influx of blood Insulin.

Cinnamon also decreases cholesterol, which helps prevent heart disease.

Lower your cholesterol and stabilize your blood glucose levels by sprinkling cinnamon on your foods; for an example: on oatmeal for breakfast.
